Loaded cement trucks waiting at a border crossing

Five crossings, five plants

We deliver to Iraq through five land crossings. Each one is supplied by a cement plant close to it, which keeps the trucking distance short:

  • Mehran (Zurbatiyah): Kut · Baghdad (supplied by Ilam Cement)
  • Khosravi (Al‑Mundhiriya): Baghdad · Diyala (supplied by Saman Gharb Cement)
  • Bashmaq (Penjwen): Sulaymaniyah (supplied by Kurdistan Cement, Bijar)
  • Shalamcheh: Basra (supplied by Khuzestan Cement)
  • Chazabeh (Al‑Sheeb): Amarah (supplied by Karun Cement)

Where the cement is handed over

Standard delivery is at the border: we hand the cement over at the Iranian side of the crossing. Delivery at the plant gate or to your site can be arranged on request. Prices and payment are in US dollars.

Documents

  • Commercial invoice
  • Packing list
  • Certificate of origin
  • Transport documents
  • Plant analysis sheet (with your order)

If your importer or project needs anything else, tell us before loading so it can be prepared with the shipment.

Timing and volumes

  • First order: 100 t, which is four trucks of 25 t
  • Loading within 2 weeks of payment
  • Up to 30,000 t a month after the border test and the final contract, from one or several plants of your choice

Transit time after loading depends on the crossing and the border queue, so we confirm it in your quote.
